We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Learning Educator to join our team. As part of Catholic Early Learning & Care (CELC), this casual position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the education and care of young children in a supportive and nurturing environment. Responsibilities include:
- Assist in the implementation of educational programs and learning activities under the guidance of qualified educators.
- Support children's development through engaging interactions and meaningful experiences.
- Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and education that aligns with regulatory standards.
- Engage with families and build positive relationships to support children's learning and wellbeing.
- Contribute to maintaining accurate records and documentation related to children's progress and daily routines.
- Hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of child development and learning theories
- Have experience working in a similar early learning environment
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Show proficiency in implementing educational programs and activities for young children
- Exhibit a sound knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene practices in childcare settings
- Display the ability to work effectively within a diverse team environment
- Hold a current First Aid certificate including CPR, asthma, and anaphylaxis training
