Job Description
Working closely with educators, families and the broader community, you’ll foster a culture of excellence, wellbeing and faith-based care that supports every child’s learning journey.
What You’ll Do
Lead and mentor educators to deliver high-quality, inclusive programs aligned with the National Quality Framework and CELC philosophy.
Oversee all operational, educational, and compliance requirements under the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
Develop and maintain the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and ensure continuous improvement across all quality areas.
Build strong partnerships with families, parishes, and local communities to promote belonging and engagement.
Supervise and support staff, including recruitment, professional development, and performance management.
Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for children, families, staff, and visitors by adhering to WHS, safeguarding, and Catholic ethos standards.
Manage administrative and financial processes including enrolments, fee management, and reporting requirements.
Desired Skills and Experience
What We’re Looking For
You are an experienced early childhood leader who is passionate about inclusive, values-driven education and creating nurturing learning spaces. You will bring:
A Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent as approved by ACECQA).
Proven leadership and team management experience in an Early Learning or OSHC setting.
A strong understanding of the National Quality Standards, MTOP, and best practice pedagogy.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with children, families, and colleagues.
A commitment to Catholic Social Teaching and the mission of Catholic Education.
Mandatory Requirements
Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates
Food Safety Supervisor (or willingness to obtain)
Experience in managing child behaviour and supporting inclusive practices
